Client: Flow Polymers
Cleveland, OH
Actual Length of the Job
Scheduled for the Job
Notes: We brought a 12-man crew out to this job and worked hard to get this job done ahead of schedule for this customer. They had heavy machinery going through some of these windows, and half of the building had a dropoff onto gravel and a railroad construction project on the same area that needed to be navigated. The job turned out great, and the customers love the transformation of their building.
Client: Beth Israel Temple West
Notes: We got this entire job done in 1 day, start to finish. Everything went smoothly, and the customers love the new windows.
Client: M & G Pools
Twinsburg, OH
Notes: We knew we were running up against the timeline we gave the customer, so on the final day of the project we stayed out there until 7:30 pm while it was snowing to get the job done on time as promised. While we installed the windows, we helped the customer with some additional masonry repairs on his building exterior free of charge to prevent potential water damage to the structure of his buildings.
We will not renegotiate the price with you mid-job. Once we agree on a price and a scope, you know exactly what you are going to spend, no surprises. ALL labor, materials, equipment rental, disposal of debris, and warranty is included.
Many projects can be split into multiple phases at no additional cost.
Yes. A mortar-set glass block window is effectively a masonry wall. Unlike standard glass panes that can be shattered quietly, or vinyl frames that can be pried open, glass block is thick, heavy, and integrated into the foundation. Breaking through requires significant force, noise, and time—three things intruders avoid.
It depends on where the mortar or silicone is used. Glass block panels are assembled using silicone between the individual blocks — that is industry standard and what every installer uses, including us. The critical difference is how the finished panel attaches to your wall. Glass Block HQ mortars every panel into the wall opening, creating a permanent masonry bond. Some installers use silicone or caulk for that perimeter connection instead, and in Ohio’s freeze-thaw climate, that adhesive-only perimeter degrades, cracks, and fails within 5 to 10 years.
Yes. We use cold-weather mortar additives that allow the mortar to cure properly even in freezing temperatures. We install year-round in Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati.
Soap and water. Since there are no tracks, sills, or moving parts to collect dirt, you simply wipe the face of the glass. High-pressure spraying is not recommended as it can damage mortar joints over time.
All Glass Block HQ installations come with a lifetime workmanship warranty. The blocks themselves are made by industry-leading manufacturers and carry their own material warranties against manufacturing defects.
